JAMIE COLLINS DOSS - producer
In 1996, Jamie formed her production company, The Isaac Group, LLC, with the mission of producing quality entertainment for a broad based audience. In 1997, the company produced its debut feature film, Southern Heart, a light-hearted romantic comedy starring Peter DeLuise. In addition to her role as Producer, Jamie also co-wrote the original screenplay, wrote and performed much of the music and played the lead female role.
A former Jr. Miss Alabama and first runner-up to America’s Jr. Miss, Jamie studied voice, drama and dance at Auburn University (Auburn, Alabama) where she appeared in numerous productions displaying her talent as a principal dancer, choreographer, vocalist as well as an actress being awarded the title of STATE’S BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS.
After college, Jamie has starred in the numerous regional stage productions such as BIG RIVER, DAMES AT SEA, STAR SPANGLED GIRL and THE CRACKER MAN. She also was featured in the original musical, MAMA HEWITT’S FAMILY REUNION which was performed in New York City at the 1995 ASCAP WORKSHOP FOR MUSICAL THEATER. Jamie also starred in the off broadway musical, THE GREAT DEBATE, both in New York City and Boston where she also performed THE CHRISTMAS STORY at the Millenium Music Theater. She also has done voice over and recording work in New York City.
In addition to her acting and producing, Jamie serves as the CEO of Aurora Therapeutics, LLC, where she holds two US Patents for soap and health products that she developed.
When not working, Jamie enjoys West Coast Swing dancing, horseback riding, martial arts and composing music while with her artist husband, Jeremy Doss and their son, Elijah.
